Cluster “Smart Factories”

Since April 2017, torinonordovest adheres to the The Italian Technology Cluster “Smart Factories”.


Key instruments of European innovation and research policies, Technology Clusters in Germany have been active since 1995 and are working to foster a strategic convergence among industry, federal government, regional governments, and public and private research centers, to build a market for innovation, intensify collaboration among stakeholders, deal with the transformation of industrial and social processes. In Italy, technology clusters were set up in 2012 at the initiative of the Miur, which recognizes 12 of them: Aerospace, Agrifood, Green chemistry, Intelligent factory, Mobility means and systems, Life sciences, Technology for life environments, Technologies for smart communities, Technologies for cultural heritage, Design, creativity, and made in italy, Sea Economy, Energy.
